A 160 × 210 cm emergency blanket in 12 μm PET with a vacuum-aluminised coating on both sides, silver on both faces. It works by reflecting body heat rather than generating any, which is why it is folded into every first-aid kit and vehicle: it weighs almost nothing, folds to pocket size, and stops the rapid heat loss that follows shock, exposure or a water rescue.
